5 Natural Remedies For Ulcerative Colitis

aloe-natural-remedies1.  Aloe Vera products have always been known for it’s anti-inflammatory and soothing attributes.  However, Aloe is most effective at it’s purest and most concentrated state possible.  In my research I have found AloeElite to be an excellent, natural remedy that aids in relieving the symptoms of ulcerative colitis for a more healthy functioning level.

2.  Glutamine.  This amino acid is involved in the healthy turnover of cells that line the digestive track.  Glutamine is also found as part of the AloeElite product, which is added for increased absorption of aloe, vitamins, and other nutrients.

3.  Slippery Elm is a traditional remedy for bowel disorders.  It’s high in mucilage, a substance that helps calm the intestines and reduce inflammation.

4.  Fish Oil.  It seems the Omega 3 fatty acids, particularly EPA, have an anti-inflammatory effect throughout the body and are able to heal the inner lining of the inflamed intestines.  Although it is not proven to prevent intestinal inflammation, it definitely helps reducing existing inflammation.

5.  Cat’s Claw has anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial effects, and has been used for years with great healing results.

For anybody who’s looking for a solution to ulcerative colitis – AloeElite is definitely something worth considering!!

I am a 20 year old undergraduate student who was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis 3 years ago. I’ve been through every sort of medication on the market – from salofalk, immuran, enema’s..to hardcore steroids (sometimes 12 pills a day!!)

My friend found AloeElite while browsing through the internet and I decided to give it a try. I had frequent visits to the bathroom daily however, within 2 weeks of starting the medication I noticed the bleeding had stopped, cramping had gone and I no longer wake up throughout the night rushing to the bathroom! I can say for myself this medication has done me wonders and from somebody who thought there would be no cure out there – it proved me wrong.

    Ben,

I was 20 and an undergraduate in 1993….You are lucky there is something out there. I actually thought I was dying. I am going out tomorrow to buy this product at the natural food store. Something has to help. I am still on prednisone and I am very hesitant to try any other “medical wonders”. Thanks for the suggestion.

I’m not really good in front of a camera but if just one person suffering from ulcerative colitis benefits from this little video then it was totally worth the effort.

I too suffer from uc. It’s been almost 19 years. All of my adult life. I just had a flare last week and I’m back on prednisone again. It sucks but I’ll be able to eat good for a minute. I support you. Les

My name is Daniel Foster and I was diagnosed with Pancolitis in 2004. Since that period I was treated in a variety of ways: prednisone, 5-ASA drugs, corticosteroids, sulfasalazine, enemas, suppositories, you name it. The next step was removal of my colon. After 5 years of intense suffering I truly believe I am at a new level of digetive health. I haven’t had a flare up in almost 18 months! The regimen that has changed my life consists of all natural enzyme based products. YOR Health and its product line have literally been my savior! My inflammation, pain, vomiting, cramps and bloody stool are part of my past now and I feel confident that I can truly enjoy all that life has to offer!

I am so glad I found this site, I too have been suffering with this miserable condition and have had for the last 8 yrs. Multiple doctor visits, dozens of tests, meds that didnt work tubes every which way, totally embarassing, an almost complete shutdown of any social engagements, as “going out to eat” can turn out very badly, and never knowing what is “safe” to eat really puts a damper on any type of event. I’ve lost at least 30+ pounds from this, and I too have felt as though I was dying. I was about ready to put a TV in my bathroom, since it feels like I spend half my life there!
Reading through these stories really helps, just knowing I’m not alone in this. Any tips anyone can give me would be greatly appreciated, and could someone let me know how or where I can get this AloeElite? I’m definitely going to try it!
Thank you ALL for sharing your experiences with this awful condition
